It’s a long time since I last posted but I’ve just received a lovely book by Carol Feller. It contains 7 patterns, all designed for Baa Ram Ewe’s new Dovestone yarn. All of the pieces are very wearable, but not only do they look gorgeous, they are all constructed in an unusual way. I love the short row shaping on the sideways knitted hat. It creates a pretty pattern at the crown that resembles a flower. And there is a sideways knit cardigan in garter stitch with the addition of lace panels. I think this will be the first thing I knit from this very useful little book.
